COMSEC2- 6
We presented our final project about CTI. The night before it was very stressful because we were still not done with the codes. During class (before our presentation), we were not able to listen to Sir Justin's lessons because we were busy finishing the codes for our project. Fortunately, we got by 😂. Sir justin gave us some additional days for us to really finish our site. ❤️

COMSEC2- 5
Sadly, I was absent. I had a fever because of my Pharyngitis. Good thing is my friends taught me everything that I missed this week. I am such a very lucky person to be friends with them ❤️

COMSEC2- 4
This week, we presented our midterm project. Our project was about CTI which means Cyber Threat Intelligence. Our topic was actually very interesting plus, we got the chance to design our own website (kind of). During the presentation, we were that nervous because only Sir Justin and a couple of our classmates was in the room. It was actually the most relaxing defense..ever. Lol.

COMSEC2- 3
Our activity was actually interesting. My team and I were assigned to study the case of the belo company against their former patient. It was fun, I admit. However, we had a hard time trying to answer the questions in the activity but we still managed to finish it. Yaaaay!

COMSEC2- 2
Second day of COMSEC2 class and I'm already late. I was a bit disappointed with myself because during term break, I promised myself that I won't be late in class ever again. And here I am. This is why I hate traffic.. and also commuting. Every morning, we are always having a hard time going to school due to lack of jeepneys (and by that, I mean ANY means of transportation). Sad, I know. I hope I won't be late next meeting.

COMSEC2- 1
The first day of class was kind of familiar to be honest. Same floor, same classmates and same professor. I'm not complaining tho. It was kind of relaxing to be around that environment.
However, about the topics that our class is about to learn, I'm quite nervous yet excited about it. Nervous because I'm aiming for my grades to be higher than my last one in this course and excited because I know that we will all have a lot of fun this term because all of us are already comfortable with having each other around.

INFOSEC- Learning Log #6
Again, I was sick during one of the classes. Those who missed the activity given last time were given a chance to pass the activity. I was paired up with one of the irregular students. She's nice to be honest, she even taught me about the lessons that I missed.
COMSEC- Learning Log #6
I was sick during one of the classes. Because of it, I needed to catch up. I asked my friends to teach me about the lessons that I missed. Good thing, I understood everything well.
INFOSEC- Learning Log #5
Again, sir Justin was not around. He left us an activity which is about implementing ACL. It was okay. Quite entertaining actually.
COMSEC- Learning Log #5
Sir Justin was not around in one of our classes. But it okay, he gave us an activity for us to finish. My group and I quickly answered the activity so that we'll have more time to do some activities in our other subjects.
INFOSEC- Learning Log #4
Just like in our COMSEC class, several groups presented their case studies. And again, my group and I were included. We were so stressed out, obviously haha. But we managed to present it good enough to have a positive feedback from Sir Justin. Yay!
COMSEC- Learning Log #4
That day, Sir justin discussed about our past exercise that we had done last meeting. It was okay. My group and I got most of the answers correct (Thank God!!!). After the discussion, several groups presented their case studies. Unfortunately, my group and I were included. However, our presentation turned out well.

INFOSEC Learning Log #3
Because of the topic of our research paper, I remembered my favorite poem about Snapchat. So here it goes..
An app that gives us what you see
It grabs it as its meant to be
Then you can send it to your mates
The Internet opens its gate
A timer that safely removes
It from their view, do they approve?
For some things that are sent about
May cause the watcher quite a shout
For people think it's quite a lark
Who knows what next may draw their spark
The photos and the videos
Sent forth to shed them of their woes
Snapchat, it is the name it has
It's use is growing fast and crass
Even the Facebook shows its rues
As all the fails, you abuse
So what may be the next delight
Some media that will excite
But keep your finger on the screen
An app that gives us what you see
It grabs it as its meant to be
Then you can send it to your mates
The Internet opens its gate
A timer that safely removes
It from their view, do they approve?
For some things that are sent about

Because of our research paper, I remembered my favorite poem about viruses. So here it goes,
I hold valuable information,
But a virus prevents its spread.
Everybody wants access to me
But the virus lives within.
You could reprogram me
But how much is the toll?
You could just leave me be
And leave the intel alone.
I have my own solution,
Which requires little effort.
Just wipe the whole damn system
And begone with all your troubles.

INFOSEC Learning Log #2
INFOSEC class had been great for us for the past two weeks. We were all catching up with the topics discussed and we all got to pass everything that was needed to be submitted. Yey!
One of the tasks that was given to us was to get a certification in a site called "Cybrary" by taking the free exam in it. At first, I was actually nervous because I kept on overthinking things when it comes to school works. I also think the worst.
Surprisingly, I got 95% in the exam and I was overwhelmed. To be honest, the exam shocked me. It was actually an easy test. Can't believe I'm saying this but it's true.
Another task that was given to us is to make a proposal about our upcoming research. The research was about the topic that we picked which was about the security of social networks (not sure if that is the exact title lol).
Because of that research, my awareness about the social networking security issues increased. Since, this topic is important and a lot of people in the computer world are talking about it, it became really interesting for me to study.
COMSEC Learning Log #2
The last two weeks had been quite rough for us. A lot of activities and assignments were given and it was hard for us to finish them all in just a short amount of time. It was so tiring and stressful!
Good thing, in our COMSEC class, Sir Justin allowed us to submit the given activity until midnight. Because of that, we got to rest for a bit. Of course, we still tried to finish our activity that time so that we won't have to think about it in the next couple of hours left. We finished it quickly actually. Hooray!
When we were doing the activities that was given to us, I was able to learn a lot about sniffing packets using wireshark. Even though, we didn't really do the sniffing thing haha. When I was researching for the answers in the questions, I learned that Wireshark is actually one of the best open source packet analyzers available today.

INFOSEC Learning Log #1
I'M HUNGRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!- That is what I always feel whenever our INFOSEC class starts. I don't know about you, but always get hungry. Sorry not sorry.
So about our INFOSEC class, I kinda like this subject to be honest. I like the activity that Sir Justin made us do (which is about solving a grocery store problem). I can say that the activity actually caught our group's attention. We brainstormed for the solutions and it was fun.
There is one problem during that class, I know that I'm not the only one struggling with this problem. THE CLASSROOM IS FREEZING.
I was actually thinking about always bringing hot coffee in the classroom but sadly, it's not allowed so kill me. The only thing that save me from that misery is my jacket.
Anyway, I am really looking forward to what we are about to learn in INFOSEC.

COMSEC Learning Log #1
HERE COMES SCHOOL AGAIN!
After our very relaxing and fattening christmas vacation, we're back to school again. Ugh. I'm not saying that I hate school because I don't. I'm just too lazy to wake up early again. Since our COMSEC class starts at exactly 7:30, I am, again, in need of my alarm clock (which is my mom's loud voice haha).
Anyway, what I really liked about our COMSEC class is when our professor, Sir Justin, talks about his job stories. Those stories actually intrigue me because I imagine myself being in his situation and it kind of made me very excited about getting a job in the future. Another thing that I liked is Sir Justin always include a lot (and by a lot, I mean SO MANY) meme photos. Like this one (it's not the exact photo that sir Justin used):
I'm not complaining tho. Those pictures actually makes his lessons more enjoyable. It even makes us laugh sometimes.
COMSEC actually caught my interest (that's why I chose it as my elective). I think that the main reason why I started to like this elevtive is maybe because of my pass subject which is the Data Communication.
At first, I did not have any interest in data communications at all which made my midterm grade in that subject fail. Because of that, I studied a lot about it to improve my grade ang fortunately, i passed with flying colors. Hehe.
I am actually very excited to what we are about to learn about this elective.
